When Steve Jobs was asked about his thoughts on this statement at Macworld this week during a post-Air announcement interview his response was, while slightly harsh, funny as all hell.

Well I’ve never been a fan of Sony so I was hoping HD would win out for that reason alone, technology wise I could care less. I think this is good though because this has gone on too long and is keeping adoption rates down. Now if the last couple holdouts will give in.
